Stephanie White is a Mi'kmaw artist residing in Newfoundland (Ktaqmkuk). She became interested in arts and crafts at a very early age. Creating indigenous art grounds her and connects her to the past. Her art includes working with furs, skins, leather and antler of seals, rabbits, moose, and caribou, porcupine quills, sinew, birch bark, feathers, and beads.
